High School Ambassadors

Each year, Admissions Counselors travel to hundreds of schools to share the Notre Dame story with interested and capable prospective students. However, time and resources limit the number of schools that the counselors are able to visit. The objective of High School Ambassadors is to extend the reach of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions across the country—and even across the world!

High School Ambassadors volunteer to return to their high school during fall, Christmas, and/or spring break to speak to students who are interested in learning more about Notre Dame. Students may also visit other high schools in their local areas. With the help of these dedicated students, many more students will hear a personal account of what makes this University so special to its students.

We want to make sure our student volunteers are fully equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to be successful in their roles. To facilitate this, we have developed a comprehensive training and resource program. The brief program consists of materials to prepare you for interacting with prospective students.
