High School Ambassadors

Overview

Each year, Admissions Counselors travel to hundreds of schools to share the Notre Dame story with interested and capable prospective students. However, time and resources limit the number of schools that the counselors are able to visit. Especially this 2020-21 academic year, there are new challenges that we will face head-on. The objective of High School Ambassadors is to extend the reach of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions across the country—and even across the world! This year, though, we will look to extend that reach virtually!

Responsibilities

Normally, High School Ambassadors volunteer to return to their high school during fall, Christmas, and/or spring break to speak to students who are interested in learning more about Notre Dame. However, we are asking that students visit their high school or other high schools in their local areas virtually. With the help of these dedicated students, many more students will hear a personal account of what makes this University so special to its students.

We are asking High School Ambassadors to contact their regional admissions counselor to see when and if they could provide their current student perspective during the virtual visits. We strongly value current students' perspectives and stories, and letting younger students you know and other students from your home region hear your stories can be very powerful!

How to Volunteer

Students interested in volunteering should fill out this form. One you receive your confirmation email, feel free to reach out to a regional admissions counselor.
